The client is a globally recognized professional services organization operating at the highest level of performance. Their Manhattan location serves as a central hub for Associates and leadership, requiring a workspace that supports focus, collaboration, and efficiency at scale.
The Challenge
As the organization reimagined its office environment, the goal was clear: create a modern, open workspace that maximized usable floor area while maintaining exceptional ergonomic standards.
Traditional desk systems often introduce visual and physical obstructions that disrupt flow and limit flexibility. The client needed a solution that would:

The Solution
BRC designed, manufactured, and installed bespoke cantilever desks tailored specifically to the needs of this space. The custom solution featured a unique structural support system that minimized visual bulk while providing exceptional stability.
By eliminating unnecessary under-desk obstructions, the cantilever design created generous legroom and a refined, floating appearance—enhancing both comfort and aesthetics. Integrated cable management ensured technology stayed organized and out of sight, reinforcing the clean, modern look of the workspace.
All desks were constructed using high-durability, sustainable materials, aligning with the client’s performance standards and long-term operational goals.
In total, 280 private offices were completed as part of this Manhattan project, with BRC’s solution becoming the standard workstation platform for the client across additional locations now underway.
