Installation Showcase: City of Bend
Project led by Independent Sales Representative: Eaton Group
Dealer Partner: PacificWRO
Thoughtful workplace solutions play a critical role in supporting functionality, accessibility, and long-term performance. In this installation showcase, BRC partnered with PacificWRO and Eaton Group to deliver a customized locker solution for the City of Bend, balancing durability, accessibility, and design intent.
This project highlights how flexibility, customization, and strong collaboration can ensure end-user needs are met at every stage of a public-sector installation.
The Client
The City of Bend is a public-sector organization dedicated to creating functional, inclusive, and well-designed spaces that support both its employees and the community it serves. As part of this project, the City required durable, adaptable workplace solutions that could meet operational demands while complying with accessibility standards and long-term performance expectations.
The Challenge
The City of Bend required a locker solution that was both highly functional and adaptable to evolving site and accessibility requirements. The space called for secure personal storage while maintaining a clean, organized aesthetic that aligned with the overall design vision. In addition to standard performance expectations, the project presented unique challenges, including late-stage accessibility updates that necessitated modifications to a portion of the lockers to meet ADA compliance standards. The solution needed to remain cohesive in appearance while accommodating these technical and regulatory requirements.
The Solution
BRC was selected for its customizable product offering, responsive customer support, and competitive pricing, all of which played a role in supporting a successful bid and execution.
Working closely with PacificWRO, Eaton Group, and the broader project Team, BRC provided hands-on support throughout every phase of the project—from RFP to installation. This included addressing detailed questions from the end user, A&D partners, and internal design Teams to ensure clarity and confidence at each step.
The final solution featured custom-height lockers with integrated planters, tailored specifically to the site’s functional and aesthetic needs. As the project progressed, approximately 5% of the lockers were modified to include ADA-compliant handles and shelving positioned no less than 15 inches off the floor, ensuring accessibility without compromising overall design continuity.
The lockers were finished in a COM laminate, Natural Recon, installed with a vertical grain orientation. This was a custom laminate finish, selected to achieve a refined, natural look.
All products arrived well-packaged, assembled seamlessly, and met quality expectations upon installation.

The Results

The completed installation successfully delivered a storage solution that met the City of Bend’s operational, accessibility, and design requirements.
BRC’s ability to adapt quickly to modifications and special requests ensured the end user’s needs were fully addressed, even as project requirements evolved. The combination of strong customer support and flexible manufacturing capabilities allowed the Team to provide a range of solutions tailored to both site conditions and user expectations.
The result is a durable, accessible, and visually cohesive locker installation that reflects the value of collaboration between Dealer, Sales Rep, and manufacturer.
