What Tim Enjoys Most About His Role
For Tim, no two days are ever the same. Every challenge is an opportunity to solve a problem, improve equipment reliability, and help keep production moving forward.
“I enjoy the variety. Every day there is a new challenge—troubleshooting a complex machine fault, improving equipment reliability, or learning something new. I enjoy solving problems and knowing that the work I do helps keep production running efficiently.”
Tim’s curiosity, technical expertise, and passion for continuous improvement make him an important part of BRC’s day-to-day operations.
A Superpower of Choice
If Tim could have one superpower, it would be the ability to instantly understand how anything works.
“It would make troubleshooting equipment much easier. Either that or time control—pausing time would make emergencies less stressful.”
Outside the Office
When he’s not keeping equipment running at its best, Tim enjoys producing electronic music, spending time with family and friends, and working on personal projects.
And when it comes to food? Beef Wellington is his favourite—although, by his own admission, he’s not too picky.
A Full Circle Journey to BRC
Tim officially joined BRC in May 2025 after working with our affiliated company, Woodlore, since January 2024. His connection with BRC, however, goes back even further.
Before joining the Team, Tim worked for Homag, where he serviced BRC’s edgebanders for several years. In fact, BRC’s Brandt edgebander was the very first machine he repaired on a customer service call, making his journey to BRC a true full-circle moment.
Building Relationships That Make a Difference
For Tim, his greatest accomplishment isn’t tied to a single repair or project—it’s the relationships he’s built with the people around him.
“One of the things I’m most proud of is the relationships I’ve built with the people at BRC. From the production team to management, everyone works toward the same goal of keeping the operation running smoothly. The production staff work hard every day, and management has been supportive and has given me opportunities to continue learning and growing in my role. Being able to contribute to that team and build strong working relationships has been one of my biggest accomplishments at BRC.”
