The Client
This financial institution required a workspace that reflected a high level of professionalism while supporting day-to-day functionality for its Team. The environment needed to feel clean, consistent, and elevated, with a strong emphasis on material continuity and seamless integration across multiple product lines.
The Challenge
The primary challenge of this project was achieving true visual alignment across multiple manufacturers.
With products specified from Herman Miller, Knoll, and BRC, the space required a cohesive finish story that felt intentional and unified, not pieced together. In particular, maintaining consistency between horizontal and vertical surfaces was critical to achieving the desired design outcome.
The solution also needed to integrate seamlessly into the broader MillerKnoll environment, ensuring compatibility without compromising performance or aesthetic standards.
The Solution
BRC worked in close partnership with Alfred Williams & Company and the MillerKnoll Team to deliver a solution that aligned both visually and functionally within the space.
The scope included:
- Vertical back panels, pre-drilled by BRC to accept MillerKnoll metal shelf mounting brackets, ensuring seamless integration with surrounding systems
- Lateral file storage, designed to complement the workstation layout while maintaining clean lines and consistent finishes
This level of coordination allowed the BRC components to integrate effortlessly alongside Herman Miller and Knoll products, supporting a unified design language throughout the space.
The attention to detail in finish selection and alignment was a key driver of success. As noted by the MillerKnoll Dealer:
